PROVISION OF MEDICINE TO WAAJID MCH HEALTH CENTRES

Introduction:

The Waajid District Local Government is benefiting from Local Governance Activities under RCRF-III AF2, Providing intergovernmental transfers to the district governments. The primary objective of this initiative is:

a) Improving vertical and horizontal fiscal imbalance b) Funding national priorities c) Enhancing domestic revenue mobilization at the district level d) Addressing spill overs or externalities between jurisdictions. e) fostering intra- FMS dialogue with and capacity building of municipal/district governments selected in accordance with criteria outlined in schedule three (3) to this manual and revised periodically under the intergovernmental platforms involving all the stakeholders; f) building capacity of fit-for-purpose PFM and payroll systems in selected municipalities/districts; g) promoting citizen engagement at all levels of government per demand; and h) advising on mechanisms to enable emergency financing in response to climate-related and other disasters.

Project Overview:

The project earmarks basic service delivery, Provision of Medicine Supplies to Wajid MCH Health Centers to directly benefit IDPs and host communities around. As a pivotal step towards ensuring the project`s success, Waajid local government invites proposals for the medicine supplies to Waajid MCH Health Centers.

Scope of Work:

Provision of Medicine supplies to Waajid MCH Health Centres. The provided medicine should meet stringent standards of quality, ensuring dates, efficacy and safety of the medicine.

This scope of work ensures that the supplied medicine contribute significantly to the satisfaction of priority healthcare needs, quality medication and the development of Waajid Communities Public Health.

Deadline

Interested suppliers are to submit proposals in response to this Request for Quotation (RFQ) by 5th March 2025 at 12:00 PM. The proposals should be brought to waajid District office/ sent via email to Wajid.procurement@gmail.com and give the subject provision of medicine to Waajid Health centres.

Mandatory requirement

Ø  Must have a valid registration from Waajid Local Government.

Ø  Must have similar experience of supply in waajid Bakool Southwest state of Somalia. (provided evidence of relevant contracts)
